YOUR CHOICES
For a private, romantic wedding the Garden room is the main choice. Seating 80 guests in comfort, the marble fireplace, chandelier and french windows make this room one apart.
The French windows open out onto the lawns. and are one of two ceremony sites within the hotel.
For the large wedding the grand marquee is linked to the hotel and can be used winter or summer - this seats 160 guests and can be extended even further, ideal also for an evening function if you choose a small wedding followed by a big celebration!
Fine cuisine is what the Otterburn Tower prides itself on. The chefs create dishes from the freshest local produce when ever possible. Often the beef and lamb comes from the owner's farm giving a difference in taste and flavour that you have to discover for yourself! Even our spring water comes from a local source! We have menu selections to make your choice easier but we are happy to create the dishes you want for your wedding day.
Your guests will also be delighted with the en- suite, individually decorated bedrooms - each with its own historic character of a bygone age with modern comforts and space. When the hotel was converted many of the original features were kept which also goes to make this hotel a unique venue for your wedding. Tea and coffee making facilities are in every room together with a bathrobe for your use during your stay with us.
Around the hotel there is plenty to do and see. We have fishing on our own stretch of the River Rede, walking and golfing nearby. Clay targets shooting with full instruction - which is great for a hen or stag party or ideal to entertain your guests on the morning of the wedding day! We even have quad bike safaris where you can see the area, learn about the wildlife and explore the wild hills of Northumberland. Close to Kielder water and the famous Alnwick castle and gardens there is plenty to explore if your guests want to stay or you want to spend your honeymoon here!
