The accommodation at The Otterburn Tower is all you would expect from a luxury AA 3 star hotel. En-suite bedrooms, bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, a trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers etc. This is where the similarity ends between a modern chain hotel and the Otterburn Tower. Each of our rooms is individually decorated and are totally different. When the hotel was refurbished great care was taken to enhance and cherish the features that date back in history and will help to make your stay with us so special.

The Library Suite

Once the library of a country house and now tastefully decorated to be a bridal suite which is full of character. The Bathroom nestles behind the wooden panelling while the huge four poster bed takes pride of place; the fireplace gives a feeling of warmth and grandeur while the frieze depicts the Battle of Otterburn in 1388.

The Umfraville Suite

Light and airy this is a luxury and spacious room, ideal for a romantic break. A large antique wardrobe opens out to a mirrored facade - perfect to make sure you are looking your best! Looking over the terraced lawns to Otterburn Mill with views of 'Wild Redesdale' is simply breathtaking.

The Rede Room

This is one of our downstairs rooms with easy access for the less abled. The fireplace makes the room look cosy with fireside table and chairs to enjoy your tea and coffee. This room boasts a huge bathroom with shower and the bed is a traditional Georgian four-poster. A luxury room with views over the garden and woodland.

The Tower Rooms

Our other rooms are full of character, some with their own lounge area and all with a traditional, warm and cost atmosphere. Here you can learn about some of our local artists, sport and the military history that has gone into making this hotel so unique.
